Based on the Pond aluminum side-oiler block, the Roush 451R FE displaces 451 ci and utilizes new parts, including a Roush-tuned Holley carburetor on a dual-plane intake and Edelbrock aluminum heads. Horsepower for the base single-quad engine is rated at 455; a dual-quad version makes 480.
