How To Replace a Winshield Wiper Motor

10. The plastic terminal sleeve also needed to be transferredfrom the old motor by carefully pulling it off...

11. ...and reinstalling it on the new motor. You should be ableto squeeze the plastic housing enough to pop it free from the old motor.It will then simply snap into the new one.

12. With the ground wire tab and terminal sleeve installed on thenew motor, it's ready to be reinstalled into the car. As with removal,the new motor is installed underneath the dashboard.

13. Again, access to the wiper motor through R&R was aided someby removing the speaker grille. We could partially see what we weredoing from this point. The use of an ignition wrench was easier thangetting a ratchet and socket into this tight area.
